General Manager Brian Cashman began working for the Yankees in 1986 as an intern while still in college, eventually being promoted to General Manager in 1998. The Yankees have won four World Series Titles (1998, 1999, 2000 & 2009) and appeared in two others (2001 & 2003) with Cashman at the helm. Cashman is currently the third longest-tenured GM behind Brian Sabean (Giants) and Billy Beane (Athletics).
