2.      Eddy Martinez-Esteve, OF: The 28 year old has spent eight seasons in the minors where he has a career batting average of .295 with 42 HR and 305 RBI. He played 15 games in 2011 with Double-A Jackson (Southern) in the Mariners organization where he hit .269 with 5 RBI. Drafted by the Giants in the 2nd round of the 2004 amateur draft.
3.      Kurt Ainsworth, RHP: The 33 year old spent parts of four seasons in the majors as a member of the Giants and Orioles. In 29 career games he compiled a record of 6-8 with a 5.19 ERA. Traded by the Giants to the Orioles along with Ryan Hannaman (LHP) and Damian Moss (LHP) in exchange for Sidney Ponson (RHP) in July 2003. He lasted pitched in 2004 with the Orioles. Signed by the Giants as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 2000.
2.      David Aardsma, RHP, Seattle Mariners: The 29 year old has spent six seasons in the majors as a member of the Giants, Cubs, White Sox, Red Sox, and Mariners. His career record is 13-15 with a 4.20 ERA and 69 saves. Traded by the Giants to the Cubs along with Jerome Williams (RHP) in exchange for LaTroy Hawkins in May 2005. Missed the entire 2011 season after requiring Tommy John Surgery. Drafted by the Giants in the 1st round (22nd overall) of the 2003 amateur draft.

Fun Fact
The Giants have won 6 World Series over their 128 year history dating back to their days in New York. The 2011 Championship team was the first since the club moved to San Francisco in 1958.
